Tim and Deborah Anderson serve in the South American country of Ecuador, which is a beautiful country nestled between Columbia, and Peru, and with a beautiful Pacific coastline.  It is both coastal and mountainous.  It has jungles and large, modern cities.  And if you are familiar with missions, you will also recognize these are the same jungles in which Jim Elliot and his team were martyred bringing the Word of God to the Auca Indians.  A good read is Jim’s wife’s book Through Gates of Splendor, which immortalizes the story of these men and their passion.

In 1995 Tim founded a Teen Challenge ministry in Ecuador. They currently average between 30 and 60 students, and serve all the Provinces of Ecuador. Deborah is the Special Projects Director, teacher and counselor at Alliance Academy International, with 27 Nations represented by the student body of 500 students.
